The genocide continues, despite the 'ceasefire' brokered by the U.S. between Hamas and Israel. As of July 29, 2026, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports 73,335 Palestinian fatalities and 174,052 injuries. 595 aid workers have been killed, more than 1700 health workers, 145 civil defense staff and 262 journalists were murdered. 1.9 million Palestinians face acute food insecurity. 93% of school buildings and 63 university buildings have been destroyed. Over 80% of all structures are destroyed and 77% of housing units have been destroyed.
